How to Install pencil software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pencil software package provides animation/drawing software, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pencil

pencil is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pencil package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pencil *

You will get with pencil package name, version, architecture and description in a table
