pdlzip-dbg software package provides data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm (simple version; debug), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pdlzip-dbg
pdlzip-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pdlzip-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pdlzip-dbg *
You will get with pdlzip-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
