pd-bassemu software package provides a Pd object for transistor bass emulation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pd-bassemu
pd-bassemu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pd-bassemu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pd-bassemu *
You will get with pd-bassemu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
