pawserv software package provides CERNLIB data analysis suite - distributed PAW and file transfer servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pawserv
pawserv is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pawserv package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pawserv *
You will get with pawserv package name, version, architecture and description in a table
