owncloud-client-cmd software package provides folder synchronization with an ownCloud server - cmd client, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install owncloud-client-cmd
owncloud-client-cmd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the owncloud-client-cmd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep owncloud-client-cmd *
You will get with owncloud-client-cmd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
