osmo-sdr software package provides Software defined radio support for OsmoSDR hardware (tools), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install osmo-sdr
osmo-sdr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the osmo-sdr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep osmo-sdr *
You will get with osmo-sdr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
