openvas-server-dev software package provides remote network security auditor - static libraries and headers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openvas-server-dev
openvas-server-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openvas-server-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openvas-server-dev *
You will get with openvas-server-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
