openthesaurus-de-text software package provides German Text Thesaurus for e.g. ding, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openthesaurus-de-text
openthesaurus-de-text is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openthesaurus-de-text package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openthesaurus-de-text *
You will get with openthesaurus-de-text package name, version, architecture and description in a table
