openms software package provides package for LC/MS data management and analysis, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openms
openms is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openms package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openms *
You will get with openms package name, version, architecture and description in a table
