opencubicplayer software package provides UNIX port of Open Cubic Player, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install opencubicplayer
opencubicplayer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the opencubicplayer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep opencubicplayer *
You will get with opencubicplayer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
