openctm-tools software package provides Tools for compression of 3D triangle meshes, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openctm-tools
openctm-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openctm-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openctm-tools *
You will get with openctm-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
