openbox-gnome-session software package provides command line utility to run Openbox as GNOME session, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openbox-gnome-session
openbox-gnome-session is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openbox-gnome-session package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openbox-gnome-session *
You will get with openbox-gnome-session package name, version, architecture and description in a table
