oneliner-el software package provides extensions of Emacs standard shell-mode, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install oneliner-el
oneliner-el is installed in your system.
Make ensure the oneliner-el package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep oneliner-el *
You will get with oneliner-el package name, version, architecture and description in a table
