$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install omniidl 

omniidl is installed in your system.

Make ensure the omniidl package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep omniidl *

You will get with omniidl package name, version, architecture and description in a table

omniidl package basic information:
