okular-extra-backends software package provides additional document format support for Okular, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install okular-extra-backends
okular-extra-backends is installed in your system.
Make ensure the okular-extra-backends package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep okular-extra-backends *
You will get with okular-extra-backends package name, version, architecture and description in a table
