octave-zenity software package provides simple graphical user interfaces using zenity in Octave, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install octave-zenity
octave-zenity is installed in your system.
Make ensure the octave-zenity package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep octave-zenity *
You will get with octave-zenity package name, version, architecture and description in a table
