octave-secs1d software package provides semi conductor simulator in 1D for Octave, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install octave-secs1d
octave-secs1d is installed in your system.
Make ensure the octave-secs1d package were installed using the commands given below,
