ocaml software package provides ML language implementation with a class-based object system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ocaml
ocaml is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ocaml package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ocaml *
You will get with ocaml package name, version, architecture and description in a table
