nova-consoleauth software package provides OpenStack Compute - Console Authenticator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nova-consoleauth
nova-consoleauth is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nova-consoleauth package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nova-consoleauth *
You will get with nova-consoleauth package name, version, architecture and description in a table
