node-lru-cache software package provides least-recently-used cache object for Node.js, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install node-lru-cache
node-lru-cache is installed in your system.
Make ensure the node-lru-cache package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep node-lru-cache *
You will get with node-lru-cache package name, version, architecture and description in a table
