$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install nifti2dicom-data 

nifti2dicom-data is installed in your system.

Make ensure the nifti2dicom-data package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nifti2dicom-data *

You will get with nifti2dicom-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table

nifti2dicom-data package basic information:
