How to Install nic-firmware software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

nic-firmware software package provides Firmware for NICs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install nic-firmware

nic-firmware is installed in your system.

Make ensure the nic-firmware package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nic-firmware *
