netpipe-openmpi software package provides Network performance tool using OpenMPI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install netpipe-openmpi
netpipe-openmpi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the netpipe-openmpi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netpipe-openmpi *
You will get with netpipe-openmpi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
