How to Install netperf software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

netperf software package provides Network performance benchmark, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install netperf

netperf is installed in your system.

Make ensure the netperf package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netperf *

You will get with netperf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
