How to Install netbase software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

netbase software package provides Basic TCP/IP networking system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install netbase

netbase is installed in your system.

Make ensure the netbase package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netbase *

You will get with netbase package name, version, architecture and description in a table
