nepomuk-core software package provides Nepomuk Semantik Desktop core libraries - transitional package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nepomuk-core
nepomuk-core is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nepomuk-core package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nepomuk-core *
You will get with nepomuk-core package name, version, architecture and description in a table
