neobio software package provides computes alignments of amino acid and nucleotide sequences, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install neobio
neobio is installed in your system.
Make ensure the neobio package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep neobio *
You will get with neobio package name, version, architecture and description in a table
