ndiswrapper-common software package provides Common scripts required to use the utilities for ndiswrapper, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ndiswrapper-common
ndiswrapper-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ndiswrapper-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ndiswrapper-common *
You will get with ndiswrapper-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
