ncurses-term software package provides additional terminal type definitions, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ncurses-term
ncurses-term is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ncurses-term package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ncurses-term *
You will get with ncurses-term package name, version, architecture and description in a table
