ncmpc-lyrics software package provides ncurses-based audio player (lyrics plugins), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ncmpc-lyrics
ncmpc-lyrics is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ncmpc-lyrics package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ncmpc-lyrics *
You will get with ncmpc-lyrics package name, version, architecture and description in a table
