navit-gui-gtk software package provides Car navigation system with routing engine - GTK+ GUI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install navit-gui-gtk
navit-gui-gtk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the navit-gui-gtk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep navit-gui-gtk *
You will get with navit-gui-gtk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
