nautilus-wipe software package provides Secure deletion extension for Nautilus, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nautilus-wipe
nautilus-wipe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nautilus-wipe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nautilus-wipe *
You will get with nautilus-wipe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
