How to uninstall or remove naist-jdic-utf8 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed naist-jdic-utf8 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove naist-jdic-utf8

Uninstall naist-jdic-utf8 including dependent package

If you would like to remove naist-jdic-utf8 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove naist-jdic-utf8

Use Purging naist-jdic-utf8

If you use with purge options to naist-jdic-utf8 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge naist-jdic-utf8

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove naist-jdic-utf8
