mysql-utilities software package provides collection of scripts for managing MySQL servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mysql-utilities
mysql-utilities is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mysql-utilities package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mysql-utilities *
You will get with mysql-utilities package name, version, architecture and description in a table
