mupen64plus software package provides plugin-based Nintendo 64 emulator (transitional dummy package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mupen64plus
mupen64plus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mupen64plus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mupen64plus *
You will get with mupen64plus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
