How to Install mtpfs software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

mtpfs software package provides FUSE filesystem for Media Transfer Protocol devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mtpfs

mtpfs is installed in your system.

Make ensure the mtpfs package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mtpfs *

You will get with mtpfs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
