mtpaint software package provides painting program to create pixel art and manipulate digital photos, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mtpaint
mtpaint is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mtpaint package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mtpaint *
You will get with mtpaint package name, version, architecture and description in a table
