How to Install msmtp-mta software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

msmtp-mta software package provides light SMTP client with support for server profiles - the regular MTA, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install msmtp-mta

msmtp-mta is installed in your system.

Make ensure the msmtp-mta package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep msmtp-mta *

You will get with msmtp-mta package name, version, architecture and description in a table
