msmtp-gnome software package provides light SMTP client with support for server profiles - with GNOME keyring support, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install msmtp-gnome
msmtp-gnome is installed in your system.
Make ensure the msmtp-gnome package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep msmtp-gnome *
You will get with msmtp-gnome package name, version, architecture and description in a table
