mrtgutils-sensors software package provides Utilities to generate statistics for mrtg (from lm-sensors), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mrtgutils-sensors
mrtgutils-sensors is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mrtgutils-sensors package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mrtgutils-sensors *
You will get with mrtgutils-sensors package name, version, architecture and description in a table
