How to Install mpv software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

mpv software package provides video player based on MPlayer/mplayer2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mpv

mpv is installed in your system.

Make ensure the mpv package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mpv *

You will get with mpv package name, version, architecture and description in a table
