mpg123-el software package provides front-end to mpg321/ogg321 media players for Emacs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mpg123-el
mpg123-el is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mpg123-el package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mpg123-el *
You will get with mpg123-el package name, version, architecture and description in a table
