mp3val software package provides program for MPEG audio stream validation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mp3val
mp3val is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mp3val package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mp3val *
You will get with mp3val package name, version, architecture and description in a table
