mp3info-gtk software package provides MP3 info viewer and ID3 1.x tag editor -- GTK+ version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mp3info-gtk
mp3info-gtk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mp3info-gtk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mp3info-gtk *
You will get with mp3info-gtk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
