mp3info software package provides An MP3 technical info viewer and ID3 1.x tag editor, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mp3info
mp3info is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mp3info package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mp3info *
You will get with mp3info package name, version, architecture and description in a table
