mosh software package provides Mobile shell that supports roaming and intelligent local echo, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mosh
mosh is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mosh package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mosh *
You will get with mosh package name, version, architecture and description in a table
