mopac7-bin software package provides Semi-empirical Quantum Chemistry Library (binaries), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mopac7-bin
mopac7-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mopac7-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mopac7-bin *
You will get with mopac7-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
