How to Install monotone software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

monotone software package provides Distributed version (revision) control system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install monotone

monotone is installed in your system.

Make ensure the monotone package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep monotone *

You will get with monotone package name, version, architecture and description in a table
