mono-xsp2 software package provides simple web server to run ASP.NET 2.0 applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mono-xsp2
mono-xsp2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mono-xsp2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mono-xsp2 *
You will get with mono-xsp2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
