mono-xsp software package provides simple web server to run ASP.NET applications - default version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mono-xsp
mono-xsp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mono-xsp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mono-xsp *
You will get with mono-xsp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
